Cookfold support

Tap the Share button, then Cookfold. If Cookfold isn’t in the row of apps, swipe to the end and tap More, then switch Cookfold on. The recipe is saved the next time you open Cookfold.

Cookfold reads the recipe the website publishes for search engines. Most recipe sites do this; a few don’t. If a link fails, copy the recipe text and use “From text”, or take a screenshot and use “From a screenshot”.

Cookfold can only read what’s written in the video’s caption. If the recipe is spoken or shown on screen, take a screenshot of it and add it with “From a screenshot”.

Unlimited recipes (the free version holds 20), the meal planner and iCloud sync. Cook mode, scaling, conversions and the shopping list are free.

Open Cookfold › Settings › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Cancel in the Settings app › your name › Subscriptions › Cookfold Pro. For a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

There’s no account. Your recipes live on your iPhone and are included in your iPhone’s backups. With Cookfold Pro you can also turn on iCloud sync to keep them on all your devices.

Check that you’re signed in to iCloud and that iCloud Drive is on (Settings app › your name › iCloud). Changes usually appear within a minute or two of opening Cookfold on the other device.

Settings › Export recipes saves a file with every recipe, including your own photos. Import it on another device with Settings › Import recipes.

Deleting the app removes everything stored on the phone. If you used iCloud sync, also remove Cookfold’s data in the Settings app › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.
