Terms of use
Effective 29 September 2026 · Last updated 10 October 2026
These terms apply to the Cookfold app and website. The App Store’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iPhone app.
Your recipes
What you write in Cookfold is yours. Recipes you import from websites belong to their authors; Cookfold keeps a copy for your personal use and always links back to the original. Please don’t use Cookfold to republish other people’s recipes.
Cookfold Pro
Cookfold Pro unlocks unlimited recipes, the meal planner and iCloud sync. It is available as a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time purchase, at the prices shown in the app.
Subscriptions are paid through your Apple ID and renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Shared links
When you share a recipe, anyone with the link can view that copy of it. Don’t share recipes that contain anything private.
Nutrition and timings
Calories, nutrition, timers and scaled amounts come from the recipe’s source or simple arithmetic. They are a guide, not dietary or medical advice. Check allergens yourself.
Availability
Cookfold works offline and keeps your recipes on your phone, with no account. Your recipes are only as safe as your phone and its backups, so keep backups on or export now and then. Link import and share links need an internet connection and may occasionally be unavailable. We provide Cookfold as is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
